I don’t really advertise to be honest as I get so much work via word of mouth, my instagram page & here on my website. I’m lucky in that way – thankfully!

When I first started out I put ads in various magazines to garner work but all I got were calls from people trying to sell me stuff! I have therefore avoided advertising ever since.

Anyway, the Cotswold planning department got in touch recently & asked me if I would add my details to their new online portal. It seemed like a good idea so I said yes. It will apparently be live in December so as I’m so busy I added it to my ‘to do’ list.

This morning I got an email clearly complaining I had not sent a design for them so they had made one for me. OMG! IT IS SO AWFUL – here it is…

I’m not sure if they deliberately made it so horribly naff it would galvanise me into action or if their ad department is run by their cat. It did of course galvanise me into action so I put this together – see below…. it’s an image from Pip’s Place on my website & I sincerely hope better reflects me & my design ability….

All for now, I genuinely need to get back to my drawing board – I’m drawing some railings for a project in Bath. More of that later
