I am so sorry it’s been such a very long time since I wrote a blog. All I can say is I’ve just been exceptionally busy – apologies! Anyway I am not working today as it is my birthday but as David my web chap has told me off for not writing a blog since May I am writing an update now.
Last week I was at my client Jane’s in Coleshill to discuss my design for her new garden & the house she is having built in Old Amersham. Designed by Gresford Architects it will all be stunning! I took Bruno with me as it may well be the last time I get to see this lovely garden I designed many years ago as it has recently been sold. Bruno loves it there & gallops around having a wonderful time. Jane took these photos of us & as you can see – he would far prefer to be racing about than sitting with me!
It’s a very large garden that Jane has opened to the public each Summer for charity under the National Open Garden Scheme.
Now it is mature it looks wonderful so I have asked James of JAW Photography to take some last shots for me. Watch this space!
Although there are several projects currently being built, they are very much at building site stage. Here’s a sneak peek of several current sites. They give you an idea of the range of schemes I am working on & will all look wonderful & very different when complete. All in & around the Henley on Thames area they vary from a relatively small & elegant town garden to several acres in the Berkshire & Oxfordshire countryside.
I have been keeping very busy designing new gardens for the future. I am lucky enough to be booked up with a queue of work & all are really interesting projects. Here are a couple of examples…
HENLEY GARDEN – a stylish more traditionally styled garden to suit the Georgian Farm house
NEW GARDEN NEAR WADDESTON – a contemporary & partially hidden eco friendly house with incredible views
A COUNTRY GARDEN NEAR HENLEY WITH EQUESTRIAN FACILITIES glamorous garden, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen & entertaining area
I hope that gives a good idea of what I’ve been up to!?
Yes I am having time off too to enjoy my birthday! I had a day in London last weekend shopping on Marylebone High St & dinner at The Ivy & now I am off to Tetbury with my husband to buy a new Moloh jacket
Bye for now!
